Changes to French Pricing

As you are well aware, we have been working hard to review all aspects of your country's pricing following customer feedback over the past few weeks. We would like to update you on a number of key changes as a result of this review:
1. Significant price reductions for French customers
2. Latest VAT update
3. Conversion of your MP Points to Euros
4. 10% voucher code issues resolved
5. News on our Online Price Matcher
We place your opinions and views at the heart of everything we do and we have taken some major steps to address the issues that you have raised. We are absolutely and completely dedicated to providing premium quality nutrition at the lowest delivered prices guaranteed.
EXCHANGE RATE
The launch pricing took into account a high tolerance for exchange rate fluctuations. After reviewing this, we have taken the decision to set a very low tolerance and absorb short term fluctuations ourselves in order to ensure the lowest possible pricing to you.
RAW MATERIAL PRICE INCREASES
The price of whey and other raw materials have risen significantly on a global scale over the past 12 months. Although we had absorbed these costs up to recently, it was no longer possible for us to do so. The launch pricing for France already incorporated the price increases we made to the UK website only last week. Fortunately, we have been able to minimise the price increases and they are much lower than we originally expected. As a result, we are pleased to say that we have reduced your prices with immediate effect to reflect these savings.
EUROPEAN INVESTMENT
Although we have invested significantly in developing our services for French customers, we recognise that you should still expect the same value for money from Myprotein that you have come to know and love. We also value your loyalty and have therefore decided to absorb internally as much of these costs as possible. We have adjusted your pricing to take into account our renewed commitment to offering you the lowest prices guaranteed for the very best sports nutrition.
As a result of all the above changes, here are some examples of changes to your pricing:
TAXATION IN YOUR COUNTRY
We continue to work with tax experts in France to undertake a comprehensive review of the VAT laws. This review is taking longer than expected due to the complexities of these laws with regard to sports supplements. On conclusion of this work, we will be making further price revisions to ensure full compliance with the local taxation in your country. Rest assured we will be keeping you informed in advance of these changes.

MP REWARD POINTS
We were the first company in our sector to introduce a loyalty points scheme and we continue to lead the way in rewarding our customers for their loyalty. We love the support we get from you and place the utmost importance on recognising your loyalty.
Due to a technical issue, we were unable to convert your accumulated GBP MP Points prior to the launch of your new website into Euro MP Points to ensure they maintain the same value. We have now resolved this issue and are pleased to announce that your points have already been converted (based on the points you had in your account on October 7th 2010) plus any points collected since this date.
10% DISCOUNT VOUCHERS
We are aware that some of you have had issues using your 10% voucher codes due to a technical issue online. This has now been resolved so please do try again soon so you can benefit from fantastic savings on everything! See below for Terms and Conditions.
ONLINE PRICE MATCHER
We are currently developing an Online Price Matcher for France. You will then be able to request a price match for any similar products you find cheaper elsewhere! More information on this development will follow in due course.
